Le réseau social des étudiants de l'Alliance Française de Bombay
For the second edition of the Monsoon Project, the Alliance Française de Bombay launches a photography contest to celebrate the cultural, architectural, historical and artistic heritage of Mumbai.
The theme of the contest is “Hidden Treasures of Mumbai” which is inspired from the official theme “Hidden Heritage” chosen this year by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication for the annual event “Les Journées Européennes du Patrimoine”.
Mumbaikars and Mumbai lovers, it’s time for you to bring out your cameras and be a part of this exciting project by sharing your secret places in Mumbai and exhibiting them in their best light.
Backstages, attics, projection room, hidden places, suburban corners, unknown gullys, factories… all the invisible and mostly undiscovered places that make up the heritage that is Mumbai.
Study the plan of the city or let your lens capture a unique view from a height. Unveil places that were normally hidden (recording studios, backstages, hidden building in ruins…) Find secrets forgotten in another time. Discover hidden treasures or the unknown side of known places.
